If you have an idea for a project, a show, an event, or a presentation
that would benefit Parsons students, please keep reading!

****Parsons Student Senate has been granted $20,000 for Student-Based
Initiatives. All funding for accepted proposals will be approved
through the Parsons Student Senate.****

How can I get Money? Keep reading:

Project Themes: (At least one of the following) Projects should be “by the students for the students” Serve The Parsons Community at large Must be extra-curricular (cannot be submitted for academic
credit) Should have the ability to impact the student body continually (a
program that can happen more than once, a physical change that has
lasting impact)

Requirements: Write in an Essay form Or fill out Attached Forms

How do I turn in my Proposal?

You can submit your proposal in hard copy to the Parsons Advising
Office- 5th Floor of 2 W 13th street- room 506 or email everything to
parsonsstudentsenate@newschool.edu.

If you have any questions, or want to simply inform the Senate in
advance that you are working on a proposal, do not hesitate to email us
at parsonsstudentsenate@newschool.edu. There are also Student Senate
Representatives who can assist you in developing your proposal if you
need a little support working out the details.

We can’t wait to see what you come up with!!!

Hello,

For $20,000 I will sell my artwork, “parsonsthenewschoolfordesign.com,” to the University. If $20,000 seems like too high a price I’m open to discussing a payment plan.
